Love. It is one of the most over used and drained words in our culture today. We love everything. We love our kids, our wife, our parents, our pets, our family, our lunch, and even that new coffee maker we got for Christmas. We love love love love... But what does the word mean? Love: " an intense feeling of deep affection."

Did you catch that? God is love. In 1 John 4:8, the way John chooses to sum up God is by one simple word: Love. Not just for me or the guys sitting next to you. God is love and He loves you! Isaiah 62:4 says that the delight of the LORD is in you. He is so wrapped up in His love for you! So take just a moment and let that sink in. Not "God loves you!", but "God loves me..."
